Alicia Rypma

I have been a student of the art of movement from a very early age as I progressed through the levels of Gymnastics in Canada. I was honored to compete on the Canadian National Gymnastics team and earned a berth on Team Alberta. My training and passion in gymnastics grew into a love for practice and refinement. Gymnastics allowed me to feel pure courage and body power; however, Gyrotonic® and Qigong is where I began a practice of sensitivities of movement and the refinements of movement.

  • Certified as a Master Trainer by Juliu Horvath in 2002. I am currently one of only 250 Master Trainers in the World and continue to grow and learn in my practice daily.

  • Opened my own studio in 2003 and have been an owner/operator and personal Gyrotonic® practitioner since.

  • I have helped hundreds of clients find success in practiced movement for the improvement of their overall health and wellness.

Fernanda Repsold

A resident of Mill Valley and parent of two, Fernanda joined Marin Gyrotonic in 2018. Fernanda currently takes pre-med courses at the University of California Berkeley to prepare for study towards a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. A teacher at Marin Gyrotonic, Fernanda enjoys working with people from all walks of life and is especially interested in applying Gyrotonic as a means of stimulating the body's natural ability to heal. Her style of teaching fosters a collaborative process of discovery, combining form and function, while always looking to the whole body to create a supple and uniformly developed structure. Dominique Hawthorne

Dominique is a California native, a mother, self-care advocate, and a firm believer in the profound healing benefits of THE GYROTONIC EXPANSION SYSTEM. She is passionate about helping others and finds great joy in seeing her clients moving more freely in their bodies and discovering what is possible during class and beyond. It’s the realization that we are our own best healers that inspires her most as she witnesses the aha moments through her clients' self-discoveries. She found The Gyrotonic System as a way to heal from chronic back and joint pain and is constantly awed by the transformations that continue to inform her physical body as well as her personal and emotional life.
